Texas Three Step: Javier Gomez Noya Claims U.S. Open Triathlon in Dallas

You can call it the Texas Three Step.

While many of his fellow Oakley athletes were preparing for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Javier Gomez Noya was busy dancing his way to a victory at the U.S. Open of Triathlon on Oct. 2 in Dallas.

Pitted against a collection of some of the World’s best pro triathletes in the event’s international distances race, Javier sealed the pro men’s division win at 1:47:55 and the fastest run (31:13) – taking home the first-place purse of $15,000.

Big congratulations to Javier for the victory!
