Chris Froome is a professional road cyclist who rides for Britain’s Team Sky. Originally born in Nairobi, Kenya, where he garnished a love for mountain biking, Froome moved to South Africa as a teenager, where he began to pick up the sport of road cycling. He later went on to turn professional in his newly found passion of road cycling around 2007 and it’s been non-stop podiums since then. Froome rode his first professional season with South African Team Konica Minolta and bounced around during his early years. He rode in his first Tour de France in 2008 with Team Barloworld.
