    Cabin fever had set in to the highest degree after a four day storm took over the North and South islands. But sun finally broke out and the Oakley snow team ran for the hills! And ended up at Snow Park ski and snowboard freestyle resort between Wanaka and Queenstown in New Zealand.

    The Oakley Men’s snowboard team stomped their way to victory today at Cadrona Resort in New Zealand at the Burton Global Open Series kick off event. Sweeping the podium with a 1,2,3 order in the finals of the Slopestyle course. With this being the first major contest of the year most riders are getting warmed up for the upcoming winter. But that was not the case today, as all the riders knew it was anyone game and the rider with the most progressive tricks would win.
