The Great American Race Kicks-Off the 2012 NASCAR Season
The Daytona 500 dates back to 1959 with a race that was too close to determine a definite winner. 54 years later Daytona International Speedway still hosts NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious race. Annually delivering a tantalizing spectacle of NASCAR racing at it’s best to a sold-out crowd of close to 200,000 roaring fans.
On February 26, 2012 forty-three of the world’s best drivers will descend on the legendary speedway once again for another chance to etch their name alongside those of the racing greats who have come before them.
Last year, Oakley’s Juan Pablo Montoya finished sixth after a hard fought race leaving he and his fellow Oakley teammates chomping at the bit for redemption in 2012. The races promises to be a great start to the 2012 season!
