Ryan Villopoto is running away with just about everything. Big time. Fresh off the heels of claiming a history-making third straight Supercross Title, Oakley’s MX phenom charged into the Outdoors at Hangtown (Sacramento) as hungry a title-chasing privateer rider. Smoking fellow Oakley star, Ryan Dungey, by a massive 21.5 seconds in Moto 1 and 20.2 seconds in the second Moto – the Seattle native displayed his program’s professionalism and solid operations en route to dominance before a record crowd of 24,500 fans. As always, it was almost businesslike as RV swept the day’s races…just as Oakley’s motocross team swept the podium through both Motos.

Oakley’s 20-year-old Spaniard became the youngest rider to ever claim a Premier Class GP victory after a stunning performance at the first-ever Grand Prix of the Americas in April.
