Just when you thought he couldn’t possibly get any cooler; Bubba Watson strikes again! Earlier this year, the captivating southpaw teamed up with his esteemed boy band “The Golf Boys,” consisting of fellow PGA Tour stars Rickie Fowler, Ben Crane and Hunter Mahan, to produce the much anticipated “2.Oh” music video. There is a new viral video being passed around at rapid speed, featuring Watson, minus his band mates this time around, with an exciting twist. The video has swept the nation this week, trending across all channels of media. You’ve most likely seen it already, but just in case you’ve been in a remote forest or hiding under a rock, void of any Internet capabilities, we’d like to share with you the story that is…”Bubba’s Hover!”
Bringing a two-shot lead into the final round of the LPGA Kia Classic, Beatriz Recari most likely didn’t have eyes on winning the tournament in dramatic fashion. Slow and steady, banking on her impressive lead. That wasn’t the case however, as Recari finished Sunday’s round at Aviara in Carlsbad, California, tied for the lead with I.K. Kim. Both Recari and Kim three-putted the 18th hole to force a two-hole playoff. The two would repeat their performances on 18, during the first playoff hole, forcing another hole. That was when Recari sank an 18-foot birdie putt from the fringe to secure her second career LPGA title.
Fans have waited patiently for this day. Finally the much anticipated follow up to the Golf Boys’ debut single “Oh, Oh Oh” has surfaced and Bubba Watson, Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan put on an encore performance for the record books. The goofy golf foursome, known for disregarding the typical stereotypes of prim and proper golf athletes, have returned with an insanely hilarious single, sure to be a hit, entitled “2.Oh.”
