Nicknamed “Six Feet of Sunshine,” Kerri Walsh and teammate, Misty May-Treanor have been called “the greatest beach volleyball team of all time.” Along with partner Misty, Kerri had one of the longest and most impressive winning streaks in professional sports after winning 89 straight matches on the AVP Tour as well as the international circuit between 2003 and 2004. In 2007 her 20 wins (domestic and international combined) tied her with Misty for the most wins in a single season.     Oakley’s top-seeded Phil Dalhausser, wearing black flak jackets with black iridium lenses, and Todd Rogers won their second straight beach volleyball gold medal on the SWATCH FIVB World Tour on Sunday at the Myslowice Open in Poland. Oakley’s Adrian Gavira and Pablo Herrera of Spain earned silver.

    Oakley’s Olympic champions Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers captured Gold at the third Swatch World Tour event, the Foro Italico Beach Volley Grand Slam in Rome, Italy. Oakley’s Adrian Gavira and Pablo Herrera of Spain earned bronze and their first medal of the season. In women’s, Oakley’s reigning FIVB world champions Jen Kessey and April Ross claimed their second-straight Gold medal.

    Oakley’s 2009 world champion and European champion team of Julius Brink and Jonas Reckermann dominated the first stop of the Smart Beach tour in Frankfurt, Germany. In the women’s division, Oakley’s Katrin Holtwick and IIka Semmler won their first tournament victory.
