Casey was highly recruited by top ten NCAA Division I schools as a setter for Newbury Park High School. He went on to play for Brigham Young University (BYU). He played as setter, outside hitter, libero and finished as an opposite hitter his senior year. Casey was named to the prestigious Outrigger Invitational and Hall of Fame Morgan Classic All-Tournament Teams.
After college, Casey went on to play indoor professionally in Puerto Rico (2005, 2007) and in Europe (2006). Casey played in the Swedish Elite Professional League as an outside hitter for the Falkenberg professional team, and led his team to the finals where they won the gold medal. In 2007, he took his team, San Sebastian, to the finals as the starting opposite hitter. 2010 season in the Puerto Rican league Casey was named MVP while leading his team to the championship.
Casey has been consistently climbing the ranks on the AVP tour since 2007 when he started out ranked 83rd. Casey is currently ranked 9th and is ranked 2nd on tour for hitting percentage. In 2009, Casey got his best career finish with Ty Loomis earning their first AVP victories in Coney Island. Casey competed in an event on the Swedish Beach Volleyball Tour in June 2009 with Hans Stolfus. They won the event and defeated Sweden’s Olympic team in the finals.

My wife Lexi and son Cash. I am also inspired by all of the great beach volleyball players who helped establish the sport.

I would be a personal trainer or volleyball coach at a university.

I play guitar and sing. I was in bands in high school and college. I am also pretty good at drawing.

Defense! This season I converted from a blocker to a full time defender.
DO YOU FOLLOW A SPECIAL DIET?
Yes, I am very strict. I only eat protein, vegetables, and fruit. I eat all of my complex carbs in the morning.
WHAT IS YOUR FITNESS ROUTINE?
Train and condition at the beach for 3 hours in the morning 5 times a week and then an hour of olympic lifting 3-4 times a week.
WHAT IS THE GREATEST LESSON YOU’VE EVER LEARNED?
When you have a dream, you have to better every aspect of your life to achieve it and be truly successful. Bettering your whole self will allow you to accelerate progress.

Sweden and Puerto Rico. I played pro indoor in both countries and won championships in both leagues.
