This time, we’re at the famous Autodromo Nazionale Monza motor racing circuit in Italy during the fourth tour stop of the Superbike Word Championship.
The Monza circuit is located near the beautiful old downtown, in the “Parco di Monza”, which is an amazing park twice the size of New York’s Central Park. In the race itself tuned versions of motorcycles are raced that are available for sale to the public. It was super impressive to see what level of speed and driving the pros can get out of motorbikes that you and I could buy in the shop around the corner!

Our key account guests had received the famous Oakley VIP all-round package invite, taking care of every wish to make the day absolutely unforgettable. Exquisite food and drinks in a lounge area with sun chairs and big screens to watch the race were paired with our inspiring HDO High Definition Optics-training. On the Ducati race simulator invitees were racing on a virtual circuit sitting on a real Ducati machine, and the experience was rounded off by a guided tour to the pit lane.
The highlight of this event was the presentation of an Oakley signature series for nine-time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi. Rossi joined Ducati in 2011 and has been a longtime Oakley ambassador.

Rossi has been a fan of the Oakley Frog Skins for years, so we cracked open the vault to bring back that very classic vintage look for him. The new version of the iconic shades carries Oakley’s original logo in a rainbow of colors, inspired by graphics that Valentino provided for the collection.
