Share the Passion: Janko Tipsarevic Invites Best Juniors to his NEXT Generation Tour

Oakley Ambassador Janko Tipsarevic is a not only a great tennis player, he is an archetype of a player to many tennis groms of the upcoming generation. Not just through his ATP ranking, where the 28-years old serb is currently placed on 8. Janko already used to be a very good junior (No. 2 in world junior rankings in 2001) and now the O-Player did start a new mission inviting some of the best junior players on 5 Tournaments in 2012 to follow him on and off-court, before and after the matches.

The new project, initiated by Tecnifibre, is named NEXT Generation and allows young tennis guns staying one week aside of the Oakley Pro, from sparring-partner to behind the scene private confidant, Janko will explain to the kids what is it to be a professional tennis player.

With the help of the godfather of the NEXT Generation and current top 10 player in the World, Tecnifibre has created the program «Janko NEXT Generation Tour» that now offers, every year, a junior from the NEXT team the opportunity to enjoy and discover the life of a pro during some of the ATP World Tour tournaments for a week.

The first lucky guy has been Rookie Mitchell Krueger who did attend Janko at the BNP PARIBAS OPEN 2012 and shared his passion for his sport for a sunny and impressive week in Indian Wells. The 18 years old is the No. 1 of the USA junior ranking and participated to Janko’s day to day life as a pro on tour: practice, interviews, treatments, photo-shoots, meetings, preparations … Janko has been his confident and his coach for seven days.

Janko applies himself to reinforce the junior belonging to his team and his passion for his sport. Always focused the O-Athlete is already anxious to next share weeks with 17 years old top frensh rookie Armel Rancezot, Marton Fucsovics, 20 years old, winner of Wimbledon junior 2010 and vice world champion junior 2010, and many others to follow him to famous places like Monte-Carlo, Gstaad, Shanghai or Belgrade, the hometown of Janko Tipsarevic.
