Gretchen Bleiler Hosting Summer Olympics for Yahoo! Sports
Olympic snowboarding silver medalist Gretchen Bleiler might not be competing in the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing, but she’s in the midst of the action all the same. The Oakley athlete is commentating for Yahoo! Sports. As if she wasn’t busy enough with photo shoots, designing her Oakley Gretchen Bleiler line and training for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

More than 200 international journalists flooded the Oakley Safehouse in Beijing on Monday evening for the Oakley Olympic Event, an exclusive open house that featured technology demonstrations and a press conference with four Oakley Olympians.

Oakley's First Gold Medal
Oakley’s Samuel Sánchez of Spain stopped by the Oakley Safehouse today, after winning gold in the men’s road race on Saturday. The Oakley team cracked open a bottle of bubbly while Sanchez signed some Radars and showed off his prestigious bling.

Oakley Safehouse Opens to Athletes
It’s been a flurry of activity at the Oakley Safehouse in Beijing, which officially opens Saturday, August 9th. The Oakley team has been working overtime for the past two weeks preparing the penthouse, which will host athletes and media for the duration of the games. The language and cultural barrier proved to be an obstacle throughout the 12 months of preparation, but you wouldn’t know it from the polished finished product.

Oakley/New Era Kick off X Games
Oakley and New Era kicked off the X Games in style last Wednesday, July 30th at the Key Club in Hollywood. Lil Jon hosted the event fueled by Muscle Milk that featured performances by Kelley James, Eclectic Method and T-Pain.
